Competitions

In April 2012 we decided to enter the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Our submission comprises of two pieces of work, both related to architecture. The larger of the two pieces, titled "Ontology of a Home", represented our experience working in and around London, it exhibited the facades of 8 residential houses with varied typologies and at the centre we placed an extract of a Manifesto created for this project.

The smaller work consisted of a dyptych, illustrating our first Civic Building, The Hut, in two different mediums. The first, a dissected Moleskin sketch book representing the creative process, and the second, a silhouette of the building envelope composed of a set of pencils of varied lengths. These two pieces are titled "Sketch in Paper" and "Sketch in Pencils" respectively.

These two works represent the opening of the Studio's shop, producing hand made works of art for the home of our clients.
